Mohammad Bakhtiari, PhD, EMBA, DABR, CPHQ, CPPS, CSSBB, is the chief physicist for William Kahlert Regional Cancer Center in Westminster, Maryland. He obtained his Ph.D. in plasma physics in Japan and completed his postdoc and residency in medical physics at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. Dr Bakhtiari is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified Professional in Patient Safety and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in Healthcare. He is passionate about quality improvement, patient safety, data analytics, and healthcare leadership.
