Richard Corbett III, CMD started his undergraduate studies at Wichita State University before transferring and graduating from Kansas State University with a BS in Chemistry Pre-Health. Upon graduation in the fall of 2016, Richard moved to Houston, TX to continue his education in the field of Medical Dosimetry. He subsequently spent two years studying at the University of Texas Health MD Anderson Cancer Center where he earned his BS in Medical Dosimetry in 2019. As a practicing medical dosimetrist, Richard worked within the CHRISTUS Health system in Shreveport, LA, until acquired by Varian – Siemens Healthineers, where he recently transitioned from Chief Medical Dosimetrist at Memorial Hermann TMC in Houston, TX, to Varian’s MDO AOS Quality Issuance Team and staff dosimetry services for a couple of New York-based clinics. Furthermore, Richard is currently enrolled in Oklahoma State University’s graduate school where he is completing a dual Master’s degree in Business Administration and Healthcare Administration (MBA/MHA).
Outside of work and school, Richard enjoys spending time with his wife (Hannah), two little girls (Adelyn and Hadley Blake), two dogs (Ezra and Nova), family and friends, and playing recreational sports with his church family. If you don’t find him doing that, he is most likely tinkering with a home remodeling project or enjoying some TV and music.
