The field of Radiation Oncology, in particular, Medical Dosimetry has been entertaining the idea of hybrid and remote work. This working model has come more into the spotlight as we have progressed through the COVID era and into the post-COVID world.
The session takes the attendees through the transition that healthcare and the specialty of radiation oncology went through when embracing telework. It highlights the field of medical dosimetry and how dosimetrists have viewed remote and hybrid work.
There is an emphasis on discussing the pros and cons of remote and hybrid work, monitoring metrics, and challenges that the field faces in the future. Furthermore, the future of the field is discussed as we stand at a very exciting crossroads.

Nadeem Khan, DHA, MS, DABR, CHFP, FACRO, FAHM, FHIAS, FACMPE, is the Dean of School of Business & Informatics at the John Patrick University, South Bend, IN. He has a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration and a Masters in Medical Physics. In addition, Dr Khan is the President of Synergystic Healthcare Solutions and Advanced Radiotherapy Consultants. He has had extensive experience as a Chief Medical Physicist and member of healthcare organization's executive teams. He has Fellowships from the American College of Radiation Oncology and the American College of Medical Practice Executives amongst others.
Dr. Khan is certified by the American Board of Radiology holding certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics. He is also a Certified Health Financial Professional (CHFP) and holds a number of other certifications from health management associations. Additionally, he is licensed to practice medical physics in NY, FL & TX, and a Certified Radiation Expert in OH.Auditing, accreditation and patient safety is close to Dr. Khan's heart He led his group's RO-APM payment model discussions and the Lean Six Sigma strategy group. His passion lies in Global Healthcare, Health Insurance Plans, Strategic Change Management and Developing Executive Leadership.
