A walk-through of the basics of treatment planning for Dynamic Conformal Arcs (DCA) in RayStation, followed by simple examples, then more complicated examples, then advanced techniques, and ending with the future of DCA in radiation therapy

Presenter:
Jeannie Anderson, MS, CMD, is a certified medical dosimetrist at the University of California, San Fransisco. She has been in the field of radiation therapy for twenty years, first as a proton calibration physicist at the James M Slater Proton Therapy and Research Center after obtaining a master’s in physics, then working as a solo dosimetrist at a small clinic in Napa Valley for many years, before finally accepting a position at UCSF. She has been actively involved in volunteer work with AAMD including as an associate editor for the Dosimetry Journal and co-chair for the Directed Reading Committee. She is a published author and has given multiple presentations in a variety of topics.
