This session will demonstrate how to clearly define objectives, focus on clinically relevant anatomy, assess the plausibility of deformation, and evaluate results in the context of clinical utility. The session will also reinforce the importance of avoiding assumptions regarding registration quality and selecting alternative approaches when appropriate.
An overview of both rigid and deformable registration techniques will be included, highlighting their application in real-world clinical treatment scenarios
